Empowerment is the freedom to live as my authentic self;
to create life on my terms, to reshape the limiting mould
that my environment has cast me into,

with only the lamp of faith and trust lighting my way.

Empowerment is my ability to emerge from the waters of human experience,
every hurt, every abandonment, every betrayal,
to emerge radiantly knowing that I have remained untouched
and that I have lost nothing.
I still have the one thing that truly matters and that is Real,
I still have me.

more than anything I could ever imagine myself to be.
It is my ability to rarify earth into dew, the profane into the sacred,
to transform the scum of my life experiences
